Sake kasu cream fruit sandwich

Ingredients

l 200ml cold heavy cream (cold whipping cream) – at least 36%(or more) milk fat

l 15g sugar

l 15-20g FNC’s sake kasu(lees)

l 2 croissants

l Fruits (strawberry, orange, banana, pineapple, kiwi, grape, blueberry etc.)


Directions

Step 1 – The colder the cream, the easier and more successful it will whip. Better to put the mixing bowl and whisk inside the refrigerator and leave them for 30 minutes before moving to step 2.


Step 2 – Put the cream and sugar into the bowl and whip together until the cream holds its shape well.


Step 3 – Add the sake kasu to the cream and mix them steadily until the sake kasu dissolves. Then, put the sake kasu cream into a piping bag (decorating bag).


Step 4 – Cut each croissant horizontally (better not to slice it to two pieces).


Step 5 – Pipe the cream on cut croissant and add your preferable fruits.


Enjoy the meal!


Tip: If you prefer lighter taste or keen on diet, add drained yogurt (Greek yogurt) to the cream at STEP 3.150ml cream and 50ml yogurt.
